The latest art installation in Queen Victoria’s Square is now in place and it quickly became as popular on social media as the Blade was.
The Weeping Window Poppies will be in Hull city centre until May 14th, and if you’re in the area, you simply must go see them.

It’s not very often that I get to go out for a really, really posh dinner. But, on Tuesday 21st March, 2017, off we went to Hull’s Marina and to 1884 Wine and Tapas Bar (not to be confused with their main restaurant, which is on my “while I’m in Hull” bucket list).
Remember waaay back last year when I went to Bait on a date?
Well, same boy and one year (and a bit) later, we dressed nice and went out to celebrate our first anniversary. We had such a nice time and loved our fancy dinner.

The Lines of Thought Exhibition was open in the University of Hull’s Brynmor Jones Library from 3rd January to 28th February (today). Despite working in the building next door (no, really, I do – no exaggeration), I only got round to going on the last day.
