I made my own Big Mac!

I have a bit of a secret to tell you…

McDonald’s is one of my biggest guilty pleasures. Always has been – ever since you could get a Beanie Baby with your Happy Meal! So when I was invited to check out one of the new-look McDonald’s, well, as if I was going to say no.

A Letter to you.

If you’re British, that’s great, and please listen up. If you’re not British, you know what, the message of this letter is still really important.ย Pay attention if you’re 18 or older, and can actually do what I’m about to ask you to do. Not over 18? Still important for when you get to that age.ย

My Sunday Bake: Vanilla Choc-Chip Cupcakes

My Sunday Bake: Apple Turnovers

Good evening lovelies, how are we? This weekend seems to have flown by!

I had some old apples and puff pastry to use up. I made apple sauce out of the apples, and then put this in some puff pastry and made teeny little turnovers. Here’s my recipe and some pics.

Lines of Thought

The Lines of Thought Exhibition was open in the University of Hull’s Brynmor Jones Library from 3rd January to 28th February (today). Despite working in the building next door (no, really, I do – no exaggeration), I only got round to going on the last day.

I know, I know! I can hear your tuts from here!
