On the 14th June, my wonderful man and I took off for a flying visit to the concrete jungle itself. 12 days later, I still can’t believe we’ve ticked off such a big part of my bucket list!
It’s not very often that I get to go out for a really, really posh dinner. But, on Tuesday 21st March, 2017, off we went to Hull’s Marina and to 1884 Wine and Tapas Bar (not to be confused with their main restaurant, which is on my “while I’m in Hull” bucket list).
Remember waaay back last year when I went to Bait on a date?
Well, same boy and one year (and a bit) later, we dressed nice and went out to celebrate our first anniversary. We had such a nice time and loved our fancy dinner.
For anyone who doesn’t know, the city I currently call home, Hull, is now the UK’s City of Culture for 2017! For as long as I’m living in Hull, I’m going to get involved and blog about all the amazing things happening in our city.
What does this mean for my blog?
It’s time to get viewing, reviewing, and cultured.
Happy New Year everyone! Did you all have a lovely time?
I raided the sales in Harrogate this year – good and proper! I got myself loads of goodies, but I’m particularly happy with how I managed to do in the Lush sale. I was actually a couple of days later than I imagine most people are – we went shopping on the 28th – later than the Boxing Day madness.
Day 23 of Blogmas
Oh my days, I can’t actually believe that this is my penultimate Blogmas post!
After looking back on 2016 and how it might have been for a LOT of people, I wanted to share a bit of a look back, not so much of a review, at my own year.
Day 20 of Blogmas
After depressing you all yesterday with the reasons why 2016 has been a horrendous year, I wanted to find the silver linings and cheer us all up! Here’s my Top 5 reasons why 2016 has been pretty alright.
Day 19 of Blogmas
Bit extreme. I know. But you get the jist – it’s not been a great 353 (so far) days. Bit fitting for the last Monday before Christmas. So, why has this year been so bad? Here’s my opinion on the matter.
